My name is Krissy-Lee McCance, and I am the founder of this dedicated Registered Training Organisation (RTO: 46228) specialising in Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC). With over 20 years of experience in the field, I have had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse range of educators from various cultural, religious, and professional backgrounds. This extensive experience has provided me with deep insights into the unique needs and challenges within the ECEC sector.

My journey in Early Childhood Education has been driven by a passion for making a positive difference in children’s lives. I firmly believe that secure, trusting relationships are the foundation of children’s growth and development. At Connected Training, we prioritise cultivating these connections, promoting autonomy, and providing respectful support to each child.

One of our core principles is the integration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, along with celebrating the broader tapestry of cultural diversity. We also emphasise nature-based learning, understanding that the natural environment plays a crucial role in fostering holistic child development. Our approach engages children physically, cognitively, emotionally, and socially, encouraging inquiry-based learning and a love for exploration.
