At Connected Training, our vision is to deliver high quality training and assessment services, producing graduates who are job-ready that meet the needs of the industry. We aim to do this by recruiting and retaining talented and passionate Trainers and Assessors, providing a safe and equitable environment, upholding ethical conduct and integrity, catering to the needs of the industry and the workforce, and placing our learners at the centre of all that we do.

At Connected Training we believe positive relationships are the foundations of our learner’s experience with us. We are committed to providing high quality, meaningful skills and knowledge that our learners take into their new careers.

In our training we encourage our learners to continually push the creative boundaries within the industry. This is demonstrated through our courses in Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Key Philosophies of Connected Training

We aspire to create a successful and meaningful learning journey for our students, equipping them not only with qualifications but with a deep understanding of the principles that make Early Years Education and Care impactful.

Our commitment is to inspire, empower, and shape the future of Early Childhood Education Professionals with a focus on authentic connections and a profound respect for diversity.

Fostering Secure Relationships

At Connected Training, we believe that secure relationships are the foundation of effective early childhood education. We prioritize building trusting connections between educators, children, and families, creating a nurturing environment where everyone feels valued and supported. By fostering secure relationships, we lay the groundwork for positive social and emotional development, enhancing children’s sense of belonging and well-being.

Promoting Autonomy

We empower children to become confident and independent learners by promoting autonomy in our teaching approach. At Connected Training, we recognize the importance of allowing children to make choices, take risks, and learn from their experiences. By encouraging autonomy, we foster a sense of ownership over learning, enabling children to explore their interests, develop problem-solving skills, and build self-confidence.

Embracing Nature-Based Learning

Nature is our greatest teacher, and at Connected Training, we embrace the richness of outdoor environments as a valuable learning resource. We believe in the power of nature-based learning to inspire curiosity, creativity, and environmental stewardship in children. Through hands-on experiences in natural settings, we encourage exploration, discovery, and connection with the natural world, fostering holistic development and a lifelong love of nature.

Embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture

Connected Training is committed to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture into all aspects of our teaching and learning practices. We recognize the importance of honoring and celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Australia’s First Nations Peoples. By embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives, stories, and traditions into our curriculum, we promote respect, understanding, and reconciliation, fostering a more inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment.

Encouraging Risky Play

Risky play is essential for children’s physical, cognitive, and social development, and at Connected Training, we actively encourage and support children in taking manageable risks. We believe in providing opportunities for children to explore, experiment, and challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment. Through risky play, children develop resilience, problem-solving skills, and self-confidence, preparing them to navigate the complexities of the world with courage and resilience.
